For those of you that have been living under a rock...After an 8 year hiatus Maxwell returns with a trilogy (Black Summer's Night) of albums that will begin with the first release on July 7. He has released his first single, Pretty Wings, with a video. A snippet of the single has been on Maxwell's myspace for about a year but with the full version released we know that Maxwell is back. In true Maxwell form he's picking up like he never left. I got the date marked...

ReplyDeletemaxwell def could have given us more songs but knowing that this is a trilogy kind of eases those feelings. Bad habits, Fistful of tears,and Playing Possum are definitely standouts but with 8 legitimate songs and 9 track maxwell didnt disappoint creatively.
